Bluebells in Lickey Woods, Oil on Board

My client wanted three calming and uplifting landscape paintings depicting the beautiful countryside around the Bromsgrove area for his business based there. Together we chose a number of locations and this was the first one of the three that I painted.This was a lovely scene to paint; it is of Lickey Woods in Worcestershire, UK. Bluebells, woods, sunbeams and dappled shade some of my favourite things.
