Winter Reflection Acrylic Painting

‘Winter Reflection’ is a frosty river scene painted in cool colours with a palette knife. It’s acrylic on box canvas - a painting that evolved over time and has many layers. I wanted to keep an ethereal feel and an ambiguous impressionistic look; there is lots of texture as you can see in the photos. Painted in cool turquoises and purples with pops of burnt orange.
