‘Summer Hills Sunset’ original painting

‘Summer Hills Sunset’ is a painting that didn’t start off as a sunset but evolved into one as I went along. The colours really glow and the orangey sky draws the eye in to the horizon. It reminds me of lazy days as a child in the school summer holidays - at that age they seemed to last forever. We were lucky to be able to play far across the fields, we’d be miles away! With no mobile phones we would have to be back home before the sun went down!
This is an acrylic painting on box canvas in a contemporary white wooden floater frame. It measures 25x19in.
