‘Solitude in Stanton’ original acrylic painting

‘Solitude in Stanton’ was painted en plein air in situ from the terrace of Stanton Guildhouse in the Cotswolds, on a glorious boiling hot day in June. The views over the Vale of Evesham are absolutely breathtaking from there. This was painted with palette knives in a loose semi abstract way using a limited palette of lemon yellow,  Prussian blue, black and white. I love the fresh greens in this piece, a quintessential English view from the Cotswolds escarpment.
Framed in a contemporary white wood St Ives frame. Painting measures 11x11in.
