** SOLD ** ‘River Manifold, Derbyshire Dales’ original painting

This is the River Manifold at Hulme End in the Derbyshire Dales painted in situ on a beautiful sunny day in May. The water was sparkling and the fresh spring greens really popped. There was a lovely purplish light in the water which is what really attracted me to this scene.
Measuring 6x6in without frame, 9x9in with frame; painted in acrylics on paper using palette knives. In a soft grey wood effect frame.
