Misty Malvern View 1 - Here Comes the Sun. This is one of a series of 3 mini abstract landscape paintings originally inspired by the view from my bedroom window on a very rainy day. In the distance are the Malvern Hills which came in and out of view as the weather front passed through.The rain hitting the window obscured the view, blurred the colours and made interesting shapes. In this painting the storm has passed through, stronger colours are starting to emerge, the countryside is glistening wet as light is trying to shine through the retreating clouds.
