'Memories of Trevone' Oil Painting

Original framed oil painting inspired by the beautiful Trevone Bay in Cornwall, which is one of my favourite places to visit. This is one of a series of 4 seascape paintings I did after a trip to lovely Trevone near Padstow in Cornwall last summer. It rained a lot but there were beautiful moments like this where the sun broke through. I've used soft blended colours in the sky and sea to depict the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere of the day. I enjoyed adding some scratchy marks in the foreground to depict the seaweed.
 
This is called 'Memories of Trevone' painted in oils on paper.  The painting is A4 size (12x8in approx); 15inx12in including frame; framed behind glass in a contemporary soft grey frame.
